Steps of the Building Process

The typical process starts out with the planning and designing of your dream pool. We start with an initial consultation discussing options and viewing the site of the pool. Once a location is selected we will custom design your pool to achieve the desired result based on your individual wants, space, and budget.

Once a commitment to the project is made we prepare to start at a specified time frame. With each project being different, some can take 3-6 weeks to complete. Each homeowner works directly with the owners of the company along with their highly trained and experienced staff.

Typical Vinyl Liner Pool Construction

Day 1

On the first day, our team of pool construction experts will complete the excavation of your future pool. All digging is done per pool specifications and we aim to have the entire area excavated by the end of the work day.

Days 2-3

After your future pool’s site has been excavated, our team gets to work setting the pool walls as well as all steps, ledges, and benches. Once these elements have been established, we pour the footer.

Days 4-5

After the pool’s skeleton has been established, our team turns their focus to the plumbing of the pool. They’ll take one or two days to set up the filtering system then they’ll work to backfill any over dig before completing the first round of grading.

Day 6

After all plumbing has been established, our pool experts prepare the pool bottom. They grout the entire pool bottom then install the pool liner before they start filling the pool.

After Your Pool Liner Is Installed…

our team will return in 24 hours to cut out all of the openings needed for filtration and prepare the pool for electrical inspections. An electrician will start wiring the pool so that we can get the system running in order to maintain the water’s quality.

Once the electrical inspection is completed, we can proceed to prep for concrete around the pool’s edges and finish the project.

Upon completion, our team will meet you for a complete walkthrough while teaching and explaining how to maintain your brand new pool.

Wonderful pool company. Me and my wife just had All America Pool build an in-ground pool for us. I called 6 pool companies to come out and give me a bid. Only 3 showed up. Typically, the average in-ground pool construction takes 4-8 weeks, depending on many factors. Weather, the size of the project, work order changes, and hardscapes would be the main reasons for delays or extending the timeline of a project.

When is the best time of year to build an in-ground pool?

Most people want to build in the spring, so that their new pools are ready for the summer; however, building a pool any time between July and December is optimal considering the weather is usually more consistent. More consistent weather allows or dry work condition, so the pace of the job moves faster and there is much less mess!

Do I want a vinyl liner or a fiberglass in-ground pool?

Vinyl liners present versatility so that if a liner is damaged, or aged, it can be replaced to look like the day it was built.

A fiberglass pool is one piece which can cause some limitations on repairs and longevity along with expensive cost.

We’ve been building custom vinyl liner pools for over 50 years and have proven the performance of our pools by using polymer walls to eliminate corrosion and implementing the best materials and equipment money can buy.

What are the main reasons I should build a vinyl liner pool?

Vinyl liner pools are customizable, so adding tanning ledges, benches, and steps where you want them to be isn’t an issue at all. You can also design the bottom layout to fit exactly how you want to use your pool—the depth of the deep end, the grade of the slope, the area of the shallow end for playing.

Another good reason to build a vinyl liner in-ground pool is that it’s generally the most cost-effective of all pool options on the market.

What is the most popular pool design?

Today, the most popular pool shape is a rectangle which maximizes the usable space and gives you a clean, straight light with the house. It’s an extremely elegant design favored by homeowners.

Are tanning ledges popular?

Yes! Most pools built in this day and age have tanning ledges either close to the entry or in a design intended to form another gathering space within the pool. Most ledges have a water depth of 4″ – 10″, making them perfect for the entire family.
