If you need your above ground pool opened in the spring, contact All America Pool. We’ll take off the cover and hook up the pump & filter system. We will also add the necessary chemicals to open the pool, and start up the system to begin filtration.

When late fall arrives, it’s time to close your above ground pool. Our team of pool professionals will lower the water and winterize the pump and filter system. Additionally, we will add the appropriate winter chemicals and put on the winter cover provided. If you don’t have a cover, we offer them at varying prices depending on the size.

How long does an above-ground pool liner last?
On average, an above-ground pool liner will last 6-8 years, depending on the quality of liner, and what type of chemicals are used on a regular basis. Some chemicals can remove the color and make the liner brittle which could lessen its life span.
How do I know when it’s time for my liner to be replaced?
Normally, you will either see really white bleached out areas, holes that are beyond repair, or leaking will occur where you’re unable to locate the origin.
How will I know when my pool pump needs to be replaced?
Normally, a pool pump will make loud pitched noises when it is going out. Other signs that it may be time to replace your above-ground pool pump are if you notice it’s not turning on when the switch is set to ‘ON’ or if it is making a humming sound.

It’s not extremely hard; however, we suggest asking a professional for correct instructions and supplies—especially the first time you winterize. It’s crucial you winterize your pool correctly as it helps to insure the life span of your pool and all its products.
How often should I clean my filter?
This completely depends on the type of filter and its size. Most sand filters should be backwashed every 7-10 days and cartridge filters cleaned every 2 weeks to 6 weeks. Always check pressure gauge for accuracy.
